Ireland's Grant for Our Chicago Mother Jones Statue Campaign
Updated: Jun 30, 2020
Our Mother Jones Chicago statue sculpture fundraising is off to a glorious start. Proud to accept a generous check from Sara Keating, Vice Consul General of Ireland for Chicago and the Midwest today for $36,000 for this project as a kickstart from our Emigrant Support Programme grant application.
This project has wings!! We will be sharing more later.
We also received a $9700 grant.for a St Louis project on Fannie Sellins, who was murdered 100 years ago. We’ll be updating on that later.
Left to right members of statue committee: Helen Ramirez-Odell, Brigid Duffy, Elliott Gorn, Vice-consul Keating, Rosemary Feurer, David J. Rathke, Margaret Fulkerson.
Love seeing the Mother Jones statue project get $36,000 from Ireland - great news for labor history! I actually used an ai text cleaner to format the donor list since there were some messy NBSPs; the tool helped detect and remove zero-width characters and formatting noise locally in the browser, which made the whole thing look so much cleaner.
I’m seeing 9k club login mentioned in a few places, so I wanted to check it out. Before using it regularly, can anyone confirm if it works properly on Android devices and whether it requires any verification
I’m having a small confusion with Jalwa game. Does it require OTP verification every time, or only during the first login? Also, what should we do if OTP doesn’t arrive on time?
